Terms of Service
Last updated August 15, 2026
The agreement
These terms govern your use of BatCleared at batcleared.com, including the articles, the free tools, and the request form. Using the site means you accept them; if you do not, please do not use the site.
The service, plainly
BatCleared publishes educational content and operates a free planning and referral service for bat removal, dead animal removal, and wildlife exclusion. When you submit a request, a person prepares a plan and, when we have a vetted local wildlife control operator near you, offers one introduction. We are not a party to any agreement you make with an introduced operator, and we do not perform, supervise, or warrant their work. Our disclaimer is part of these terms.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, medical, or professional wildlife-control advice. Wildlife law and exclusion timing are set by your state wildlife agency, health questions about bat contact or droppings belong with your doctor, your local health department, and the CDC, and the scope and price of any job come from a licensed local professional after an inspection. Content here is educational orientation, framed as typical, and you agree to verify with the real authority before acting.
Acceptable use
Use the site for its purpose. Do not submit false requests, do not scrape or republish the content as your own, do not probe or disrupt the service, and do not use anything here to plan harm to wildlife, which we do not advise and will not assist. We may decline or discontinue service to anyone abusing it.
Fees and referral disclosure
The plan, the tools, and the content are free to you. If we introduce you to an operator and you hire them, that operator may pay us a referral fee at no cost to you. It never changes your price.
Intellectual property
The site's content, design, and tools belong to BatCleared. You may read, link, quote reasonably with attribution, and print for personal use; you may not copy the site wholesale or pass our content off as yours.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BatCleared is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date above changes with them. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms. Questions: support@batcleared.com.
